Free Talk: May 3rd @ The DEN

Join us for a FREE one hour talk to learn more in advance of the 3-week Series: Self-Compassion for Parents led by Kathryn Chaya Lubow, which commences the following week May 10th through May 24th.

3-Week Series starts May 10th

Self-compassion for parents is a 3-week course teaching parents and caregivers the art (and some science) of being more present with themselves and with their kids. Parenting can be overwhelming and sometimes an isolating experience, this series allows caretakers to find support among each other while learning self care and simple strategies that help create a more balanced and happier home.
Each class includes guided meditations, short talks, experiential exercises, group discussion and home practice and all material is geared to be immediately integrated in to your every day life. This course incorporates some practices from the Mindful Self-Compassion course as developed by Drs. Kristin Neff and Chris Germer.
