Teacher(s): Jason Ryterband & the back-ups
A new mindfulness drop-in class is coming to Santa Monica. Each week we’ll use guided meditations, talks, and group discussions to explore a different mindfulness technique and tie it back to recurring, universal themes like emotion, relationships, and creativity. We’ll use practical language and specific instructions to make mindfulness accessible and clear.
This group is a chance to start or deepen your meditation practice, get questions answered, and meditate in community. Join us and access a natural, open awareness from which to meet life with wisdom and kindness.

Jason Ryterband, Certified Mindfulness Facilitator
Jason provides practical, relationship-centric guidance, leveraging mindfulness tools to cultivate empathy and enrich interpersonal connections. Using a combination of traditional Vipassana meditation techniques and modern psychological research, he empowers people to move toward more secure, authentic ways of being in the world.
Santa Monica Yoga is at 1640 Ocean Park Blvd, Santa Monica. However, the garden studio is accessible from the back, so if you park out front, you’ll have to walk around Bob’s Market and down Ocean Park Place South (which is basically an alleyway) to get to the back entrance. Confused? Here’s an image of the back entrance. The studio is just through the gate on behind that “No Parking” sign, on your right.
